Terms Of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Snack Break mobile application (“the App”) operated by TSE Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 610 632 025), trading as Snack Break (“we”, “our”, “us”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the Service
Snack Break provides a self-service checkout system for snack items at participating workplaces and community spaces across Australia. The App allows you to scan product barcodes, purchase items, and pay via your mobile device. The service operates on a trust-based model — you are responsible for scanning and paying for all items you take from a Snack Break stand.
2. Account Registration
To use the App, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In.
You must:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Keep your account credentials secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Acceptable Use
When using the App, you agree to:
- Scan and pay for all items you take from a Snack Break stand
- Use the App only for its intended purpose
- Not attempt to manipulate prices, barcodes, or payment processes
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Not interfere with or disrupt the App or its servers
4. Payments
All payments are processed through Square, a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase through the App, you agree to:
- Pay the displayed price for all items you scan and purchase
- Provide valid payment information
- Square’s terms of service for payment processing
Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
5. Refunds
If you believe you have been charged in error or are dissatisfied with a purchase, please contact us at ron@snackbreak.com.au. Refund requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property associated with the App are owned by or licensed to TSE Enterprises Australia Pty Ltd. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any of our intellectual property without prior written consent.
7. Disclaimers
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be available at all times or free from errors
- All snack items will be available at every stand location
- Product information (including allergen data) is complete or accurate — always check product packaging
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, including the Australian Consumer Law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you breach these Terms or engage in conduct that we consider harmful to the service or other users. You may delete your account at any time by following the instructions on our Account Deletion page.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
