  • Name and email address provided through Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In
  • Unique account identifier

Payment Information

  • Payment details are processed securely by Square. We do not store your full credit card number or payment credentials on our servers.
  • Transaction history and purchase record

Usage Information

  • Items scanned and purchased
  • Stand locations visited
  • App usage data and interaction logs
  • Device information (device type, operating system)

Camera & Barcode Data

  • The App uses your device camera to scan QR codes and product barcodes. Images are processed on-device and are not stored or transmitted.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Snack Break service
  • Process transactions and send purchase confirmations
  • Generate digital receipts
  • Send push notifications (order updates, new stand locations)
  • Improve the App and user experience
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Prevent fraud and ensure security

3. How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

  • Square: To process payments securely. Square’s privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data.
  • Apple / Google: Authentication data is shared as part of the sign-in process, governed by their respective privacy policies.
  • Service providers: Third-party services that help us operate the App (e.g., hosting, analytics), who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us or visiting our Account Deletion page.

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
