Delete Your Account
What Data Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account information — your name, email address, and account profile
- Purchase history — records of items you’ve scanned and purchased
- Payment tokens — stored payment method references (actual card data is held by Square and removed separately)
- App preferences — notification settings and other in-app preferences
- Digital receipts — all receipt records associated with your account
What We May Retain
Certain data may be retained for legal or regulatory purposes:
- Transaction records — anonymised financial records may be retained as required by Australian tax law
- Legal obligations — data required to comply with legal proceedings or regulatory requirements
Deletion Timeline
Once we receive your deletion request, we will:
- Confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days
- Verify your identity to protect against unauthorised requests
- Complete the deletion within 30 days of verification
- Send a confirmation email once deletion is complete
